Things that you should know about Atlas

Boston Dynamics released a video titled, 'Atlas Gets a Grip' of their new humanoid-robot, Atlas.

According to the company Atlas can perform tasks just like us humans.

In the video Atlas performs some mind blowing tasks in a simulated construction site.

Atlas seems to manipulate the world around itself. It picks up planks at the simulated construction site.

The Massachusetts based company said the new moves were inspired by industrial and construction-related work.

Atlas has extraordinary agility. In the video the robot assists another construction worker flawlessly.

Atlas can run, jump, gran and throw things. It can also climb stairs.

The humanoid robot has quite impressive speed and athletic capabilities.

Atlas can also perform inverted 540-degree multi-axis flip.

Boston Dynamics' team lead on Atlas, Scott Kuindersma said, 'We're starting to put Atlas to work and think about how the robot should be able to perceive and manipulate objects in its environment,'

Atlas can do all the tasks that many of its peers cannot.
