Things that you should know about Aeolus Robotics' dual-arm robot, Aeo

Aeolus Robotics introduced a dual-arm humanoid robot, Aeo at CES 2023.

Aeo's dual arms have seven degrees of freedom (DOF) that allows it to perform a wide range of tasks.

The robot's one arm is free for mobility. This means Aeo will open elevators for you. Aeo is a photogenic robot and it will take selfies too.

Aeo can also perform important tasks like Delivery, Germicidal Disinfection, Security and Eldercare.

The dual-arm design means Aeo can multitask. For example- Push elevator buttons with one hand and Disinfect a surface with other.

The robot's vision algorithms provide a wide range of capabilities. It can determine the position and posture of residents at any eldercare home.

Global CEO of Aeolus Robotics, Alexander Huang said, 'Our goal is to create robots that will enhance quality of life and advance the positive impact robots already have on society. '

The robot is currently available through a RaaS (robotics as a service) subscription model. Japan is the only market where Aeo is in real use.

Aeo can perform many time-consuming tasks at once. Those using the robot are considering Aeo as an important member.

Aeolus Robotics' mission is to use robots to enhance the quality of life for all. The company was founded in 2016.
